Laois Cricket Club

Laois Cricket Club made a successful start to the 2009 season with a four wicket victory away to Trinity College on Monday 13 April. The Laois team, bowling well, dismissed all the Trinity batsmen for a total of 97 runs, with D. Walker (3 for 14) and Usman (2 for 21) being the pick of the bowlers. Laois scored the required total for the loss of 6 wickets, with Shiva (42 runs) Ben Hur (24 n.o.) leading the charge.
