Laois set new club record against Clontarf

Laois cricket club set a new club record when they scored 419 runs against Clontarf in the Leinster Division III League on Saturday. Batting first, Laois put Clontarf to the sword scoring quickly all the way through the innings, with big scores form individuals including Ramzdan (100), Rixi Fuller (85), Jonny Yasin (75) and Clint Wilkie (65). In reply, Clontarf only managed to score 127, with Clint Wilkie being the pick of the bowlers, taking 4 wickets for 27 runs. Laois won the game by a massive 292 run margin.

On Sunday, Laois third team beat Sandyford in Togher.
