Mudasir scores 113 as Laois win by 8 wickets
A wet weekend saw Laois having both their Firsts and Thirds matches rained off on Saturday. However, the seconds managed to play in Togher on Sunday, and recorded a strong eight wicket victory over North Kildare. Fielding first, Laois dismissed North Kildare for 184 runs. Laois chased the total for the loss of 2 wickets in the 23 over, with Mudasir scoring a magnificent 113 not out to win the game.
Next week, Laois firsts are in action in the second round of the Senior II Cup in Clontarf on Sunday, while the seconds play Malahide in Togher on Saturday. Training every Wednesday as usual.
